A .org domain by itself does not verify nonprofit status. Submit evidence through the private client-portal application. Uploaded copies are deleted 90 days after a final decision; the verification result and audit history are retained.

JIJ reviews eligibility, technical fit and available capacity before accepting an application.

Get your account details
After acceptance, account setup and access details are coordinated through the JIJ client portal.
Apply securely through your JIJ client account, save a draft and follow your review status in the portal. After verified approval, hosting activation runs through capacity and duplicate-account checks. Account details are sent after the hosting service and server account are confirmed. No unrestricted free checkout or instant activation is offered.

Is the hosting really free?
Yes. Hosting in the approved nonprofit package has a $0 monthly hosting fee. Approval, technical suitability and available program capacity are required. Separately requested work or third-party services are quoted before purchase.
Do you build the website for free too?
Website design, content, applications and ongoing edits are separate services. Tell us what you need and we will explain the scope and any cost before you decide.
Can I bring an existing website?
Yes, we can review an existing site for compatibility. Keep your current host active while the migration approach, DNS and email requirements are agreed.
Can the site use WordPress?
The package includes databases and is suitable for compatible database-driven websites, including WordPress within the account limits. Plugins, security maintenance and website care need their own plan.
Can I keep my existing domain and email provider?
Tell us where your domain and email are managed so the hosting setup can preserve their routing. Domain registration, transfers and external email subscriptions are separate from this hosting offer.
What if we need more space or a specialized application?
We will review the requirements before recommending a different hosting arrangement or a separate quote. A free package does not include a VPS, unlimited storage or custom application development.
How long does approval take?
We will confirm the next steps after reviewing your request. There is no published guaranteed turnaround; missing documentation or technical requirements can require additional discussion.
